The story

The Belfast Royal Academy is the oldest school in Belfast. Thanks to grant funding released by the Department of Education, the school undertook the School Enhancement Programme (SEP) for the construction, extension and refurbishment of the facilities.

The solution

Core supplied a high-quality data-compliant aluminium trunking system, specifically designed to meet the stringent demands of the Northern Irish school sector. We used the fast-fit 170mm Elegance Aluminium from Marshall-Tufflex, with added tamper-proof safety features to help keep pupils safe, and extruded sections that are finished with a high-quality powdercoating providing a blemish-resistant surface. Elegance 170 is also lightweight for a simple and fast installation that gives the contractor the benefit of a cost-efficient, labour and time-saving system.

The success

The new and improved facilities now benefit from a sleek and effective cable management solution that contributes to create a positive environment for both the staff and the pupils.
